In this very special Thanksgiving episode J. Blake Fichera, Author of Scored To Death- Conversations with some of Horror’s Greatest Composers + the upcoming Scored To Death II, joins us for a horror score chat and a very freaky Thanksgiving Feast Fest.
Got to moderate this sweet Fangoria panel with Directors I really admire. The Craft: Legacy, The Void, Daniel Isn’t Real, Hunter Hunter, Freaky, House On Willow Street… oh just some of the absolute best offerings in modern horror! Gather round for a chat with the creators of some of my favorite genre films in recent years. Thanks to Fango for having me and thanks to all these wonderful directors for a really fun chat.
Happy Quarantine-o-ween! In this special bonus episode, author Mary Parker joins us to unleash a wild tale on All Hallow’s Eve, beneath the full moon. Aw-wooo!

Here’s the Romancin Melansons’ contribution to the amazing HoVid Povid project!
Fulfilled my dream of playing Billy Butcherson and got to run around the backyard with my family and a camera like the old days. Thanks to everyone who made this scene happen, in front of the camera and behind the scenes! Some of us were never even in the same place at the same time. Make sure to check out the full fan-made film, an entire movie recreated scene by scene from teams all around the world, so cool to see everyone’s different art forms and talents : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f8ZPP…
Thanks to Dani Abraham and Nicolas Wendl for putting this fun project together! So happy to have been a part of this with my family. Running around the backyard recreating one of our favorite movies of all time was such a return to the core of what I love to do. It felt like being ten years old again. And getting to share that with my nephew for the first time and seeing his interest in the process really made this experience the highlight of quarantine! Thanks to everyone for all their hard work in making this scene happen.
Check out Hovid Povid and consider donating to UNICEF this Halloween
Since 1950, UNICEF has been fund-raising on Halloween through their program, “Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF”. As the coronavirus pandemic continues to impact communities around the globe and in the United States, in lieu of candy this year, please consider donating to UNICEF as they continue to help fight the spread of COVID-19 worldwide. http://bit.ly/HovidPovidUNICEF https://www.facebook.com/hovidpovidhttps://www.instagram.com/hovidpovid
